Just like all of our mortgage lending programs, the Broker approval process at HomeXpress Mortgage is designed for Speed, Ease and Convenience. Once we approve your documentation and provide a brief orientation, you’ll be ready to submit deals for your Borrowers’ unique mortgage lending experience. Our approval process is handled “in house” by our Broker approval desk. These experts will pour through your documentation, and if there are any questions or missing documents, you’ll receive a phone call from a team member.

All approved Brokers must meet minimum requirements before submitting deals for our mortgage lending solutions. These minimum standards are listed in detail below:

Broker Approval Criteria

  • Complete our broker application package below, including all required attachments. Note: incomplete applications will cause a delay in approval and may delay mortgage lending opportunities.
  • State licensing and authorization to originate and broker loans.
  • A history of business operations for two (2) years or more. In the case of newer firms, principals should have at least five (5) years’ experience in mortgage lending or brokering.
  • Maintain a good reputation in the mortgage industry with proven references, a high level of professionalism, and strong ethical standards.
  • Current good standing with all government licensing, regulatory bodies, and revenue collection agencies. This includes a public record clear of any civil or criminal judgments. Brokers whose firm has been suspended or is currently under investigation by any agency will not be approved.

The Approved Broker Orientation Process

Once you’re approved, you’ll be notified via e-mail. This email includes a unique Broker approval number and system access code to initiate mortgage lending deals with our team. Your Account Executive will also conduct a welcome and orientation call. Together, you and your AE will review the HomeXpress Mortgage systems and loan submission procedures. Access to our Broker portal provides real time information as your deals move through the pipeline to closing.
